GT Chess is basic chess program written in Java (requires Java 1.4 or later). It is freeware. If you like the program, and plan to keep it, then please consider making a donation for tsunami, earthquake, or hurricane relief.
The file GTChess.jar is an executable Java archive. Right-click and "Save Target As" to download it. A double-click will run it in Windows XP. If you need Java, click on the "Get Java Software" button to go to Sun's download page.
